How do I book?
Head over to our enquiry form and fill in as much info as you can provide (don’t worry if its just estimated numbers or you only have a rough idea of a date) and we will check availability and get back to you as soon as possible.
What time will my order be delivered?
We aim to deliver all orders as near to event/party start time, Usually around an hour before leaving us time to set it put for you if required. Occasionally for smaller orders we will need to deliver with earlier but we will discuss this if needed at time of booking.
Do you charge for delivery and what areas do you cover?
We cover all of Essex and some areas surrounding Essex borders. We offer free delivery to SS9. Please get in touch to discuss delivery costs.
Do you cater for allergens?
Yes, we can but we handle lots of different ingredients atThe Party Kitchen HQ so can not assure there is no risk of cross contamination. Get in touch with us and we will let you know if and how we can help.
I am vegan, can you cater for me?
Yes, we do, our Afternoon Teas can now be adapted to a vegan version and lots of our Platter range is great to cater for vegan guests at a party.
How much notice do you need to place a booking?
We can often take bookings for small Afternoon Teas and Graze Boxes with a few days’ notice (subject to availability for that date). For larger bookings we need at least two weeks’ notice. But please note we often get dates fill up months in advance, so it is always best to check a date asap.
Which Afternoon Tea is suitable for my 12-year-old?
We recommend booking an adult Afternoon Tea for teens and hungry pre-teens, we are happy to make sandwiches and sausage rolls plain for them if preferred. Our children’s afternoon tea is perfect for younger primary school and pre-school children. We also provide a baby/toddler option so the little ones can join in on the fun (and not steal your cake!)
How long does a Graze table take to set up?
Depending on size our Graze can take around 45 mins to 1.5 hours to lay out. We will discuss with you on booking how long we need to set up.
How do many platters should I order?
Each event & party are so different that it can really vary depending on the occasion, time of party and the style of event you are organising. For example, a small family gathering held during the day will probably require more food than a late-night party with dancing and drinking. We have lots of experience in this and are more than happy to guide you through the planning process.
Can I get a Graze table for 20 people?
Our Graze tables are best suited to catering for larger gatherings of people, but you can just as easily create a graze table for smaller groups of guests using our Platter range. By ordering multiple Graze/Cheese/charcuterie platters you will create a Graze table effect with a similar variety of cheeses and charcuterie.
Do you offer bespoke catering services?
Yes absolutely, we do have a vast range of options already created so its worth having a good look over those but if you can’t see what you are looking for please do get in touch and we can discuss how we can help.
Do you provide hot food?
No, unfortunately we are not set up to provide and deliver hot food.
